This was in a lot I purchased online. The mascara was clumpy and it smudged on me, for both applicators. The product also dried up pretty fast on the tube so I had to throw it out even though I’ve only used it a few times. So no, I will not repurchase.
ELF Foundation Brush February 5, 2009
I didn’t like this brush for its intended purpose but as a concealer brush this works fine. Why don’t I like it as a foundation brush? First the hair is too soft for foundie application, I’ve tried it with liquid and mousse types and blending was a pain. I find the shape of the brush too narrow and the brush is not dense enough. The only good thing about it is the type of hair they used which is synthetic. If you’re in need of concealing large areas this would be a good brush, because as I said it’s really soft and you don’t need to worry about over applying. I tried this to apply my cream blushes it’s no good for that too. This brush is already in the hands of my mom, she uses it for concealing lines.
ELF Bronzer in Sunkissed February 2, 2009
This was the very first bronzer I bought and tried. It was summer at the time and I thought well it’s a good time to give it a go. So there weren’t ELF counters locally at the time, I was able to buy this online for P100. My first impression was the compact was huge so it will take a long time for me to finish it even if I use it everyday. Sunkissed is slightly on the copperish bronzy side, it has very tiny gold flecks which suits my skin tone. It doesn’t look muddy on me but if over applied it can look too strong. I mainly use bronzers for contour, it would look great if you know how to use it. The texture is a bit powdery, I don’t swipe my brush on it I simply pat it because it’s easier to control the amount of powder.
A few months ago I gave this to my mom because the shade doesn’t seem to compliment me anymore, it would always look to obvious even if I just applied a small amount. My shade might have gone a bit lighter. I was poking around my mom’s stash when I saw this compact and the bronzer in pieces, so I asked her what happened. It seems she had dropped it and the whole product just crumbled. I told her to make it into a loose powder bronzer instead. I’m not sure if she heed my advice I didn’t check again.
This product is fairly cheap but I won’t be repurchasing again. I’m using a Jordana bronzer in 02 and I find it better for me.

ELF Bronzer/hi-lighter in Luminance January 30, 2009
ELF has categorized this as a bronzer I don’t why though because for me it’s more of a luminizer than a bronzer. This is my favorite hi-lighter since this is the only one I have but FYI it’s not the only I’ve tried. Most luminizers that are locally available are cream based and too shimmery for me so this being powder based is just perfect for my skin type. The texture of the product is a bit powdery so you’ll need a light hand if your using a blush brush or a fan brush so you won’t over apply. Since my skin is quite oily I only apply this on the upper part of my cheek bones to give me that nice ‘angelic’ glow, also sometimes (rarely) I apply a small amount on the bow of my lips to make my upper lips a bit pouty. This powder has small tiny gold fleck shimmers that’s quite subtle depending on the application. Staying power is mediocre so a base is very much needed. I don’t break out when I use this so I will repurchase when I ran out or when the one I have goes bad.
