This was bought for me by my sister when she went to the US, I actually asked her to get me a Wet n’ Wild Turquoise eyeliner but it wasn’t available where she was at the time so she opted for this one. This eyeliner has 2 colors a plain matte black one and a shimmery blue green, which is more closer to blue than green. I like the texture because it’s soft enough and doesn’t tug on my lids. I love using the blue-green shade on my lower lashes. I don’t know if it smudges because I do smudge it a bit when I apply this. I’ve never really used the black color because I have other liners that I prefer.

Hhhmmm…the fact that this is not locally available means I will not be able to repurchase it, so I won’t. I am happy to have this in my collection.

It seems I haven’t been writing here quite often nowadays, I’ve been obsessed with Twilight and not just the books but all the books and the movie as well. So I’m gonna try to avert my ‘obsession’ at the moment. So here’s my review:

Ever since I bought this I’ve been only be able to use it once. I used a small angled eye liner brush to apply this, I find it a bit hard because the product dries quickly so I had to dip/swipe the brush again in the pot. Well this is my first time using a gel liner. After the ordeal haha, the outcome was great! The liner did not smudge and stayed on, but I had a bit of a problem taking off the product. I use light oil when taking off my eye make up but with this liner it was messy and I had to wash my eye area twice with my facial wash. That cannot be good if I was to use this everyday, so I decided to only use this on special occasions or when the weather is too hot but definitely I will not be using this everyday. Would I repurchase? Probably not but if they ever come up with other shades I might.

I saw this eyeliner when I bought my Baxi duo cream eyeshadow. I wasn’t really planning to buy another blue eyeliner but I swatched it on the back of my hand and immediately liked the color. It’s not like the other blues I have, it has a bit green in it which looks quite pretty. I was a bit hesitant to get this because obviously it’s a fake, why couldn’t they just plastered a different name on. So well I asked the seller how much it was and she said it was P10 only, then I thought it’s not like I’m going to break the bank if I got one so I bought one. The next day I used it, it wasn’t the easiest to put on but it’s not difficult either. I’m spoiled by my other eyeliners that I have which doesn’t need any pressure when I’m applying them. This needs a bit of pressure so there is a little bit of tugging, I used the feather stroke application until I find the amount of the color to my liking. If I had to compare this with other eyeliners I would have to choose ELF eyeliner, because I had also a bit difficulty when applying and come to think of it I’ll choose this over my ELF eyeliner. To describe the color most of my blue eyeliners either has a hint of black or purple in it which I find too fierce looking on me, this one is like a blue-green but more blue, it looks great with the eyeshadow colors that I usually wear. Lasting power is great as well it stayed on until I took it off, it did not smudge but I only use this on my upper lash line ( I like using different color eyeliners on my upper and lower lash line). I will repurchase when I do run out which won’t be quite in a long time.

I wanted to try an eyeliner that has shimmers and since I’ve read reviews about this having some I decided to get one even though some said it doesn’t last quite long. So I swatched both on the back of my hand and learned that Sapphire flash does not have shimmers like Black flash does, I was a bit disappointed but I shouldn’t really complain because I got the Sapphire for free anyway. The first time I used it I used Black Flash on my upper lash line and it was so easy applying it because it glided like silk, no tugging whatsoever. You have to be careful in lining though because as easy you can apply this you can easily make a mistake as well. The shimmer wasn’t really obvious as much as I would like, it looks more shiny than shimmery. To my relief it lasted quite long on my eye lid around 8 hours or so but it wasn’t as vibrant as the first application but there wasn’t any smudging which is a great plus for me. I’m planning to use this for a smoky look since I’m pretty sure it would be easy to smudge. I bought this on ebay.ph for P80 a good enough deal since most local eyeliners are priced as such anyway. I won’t be repurchasing because these would last me quite a long time.

This is currently my favorite eyeliner. On one end is a nice metallic olive green and on the other end is a beautiful dark forest green that’s almost black. Whenever I wear just black matte eyeliners I feel it’s too fierce looking on me I can’t wear it in the day time. This one I can use any time of day with any type of eyeshadow color. Staying power is really good because it lasts for more than 8 hours on me. I can’t say I’ll repurchase again because I already bought a back up. I love this and will continue to buy as long as it’s available. I bought this on Ebay.ph for P100,  a good deal since this is not locally available here in the Philippines.

Careline Glitter Eyeliner November 11, 2008

My interest in this product was only peaked when I read a review by a fellow GirlTalker so I went out the next day to get myself one. I was told that there were 4 available colors but I only came upon 3 of ‘em which was Gold, Blue, & Silver the elusive Green sadly was not available. There were testers so I tried the colors that I think would suit me gold & blue. I was expecting for the eyeliner to be somewhat sticky because of the glitters so to my surprise it has a very watery consistency which I like. So just judging both shades in the back of my hand I opted to choose the Gold because I think this color would be much easier to wear with my other eye shadows.
When I went out the next day I was really excited to wear this so I did a simple light olive eye look with a nice beige gold highlighter then used my glitter eyeliner. I was a bit apprehensive when I started applying it because I feared that some of the glitter might find its way in my eye. With careful soft feathery stroke application I managed a very nice line that is not too thick nor too thin and learning that you should try not to open your eye too wide until it dries because you risk the glitter to transfer to the crease.
The liner will last until you remove it, which is great meaning the glitter did not grossly fall out after a few hours.
I will definitely repurchase but I think it will take me a long time to finish the tube that I have. (^_^)

added note: I was able to see the green color and I am seriously thinking of getting one, it’s a very pretty green with a bit of silver in it.
