Oumeidie Quad Eyeshadow December 16, 2008

I bought this quad eyeshadow at the Hortaleza Vaciador store near where I live. They a have few nice items but I opted for this one because of the olive green eyeshadow. The texture of the eyeshadows is a bit powdery but not really chalky. The color pay off is mediocre I think you’ll need a good base for this to last long. I always pair this with my Baxi eyeshadow to get that nice antique green color effect that I like. The other blue colors are nice as well but I can’t wear them much but I love the grayish white in the quad to use as highlighter especially paired with my blue shadows. I won’t be repurchasing these, I hope that I might find a single shadow version of the green though.

Cover Girl Single Eye Enhancers December 8, 2008

I’m not very fond of this eyeshadows because they really do not deliver much in terms of pigment and lasting power. If used with a good base or other eye colors well that’s another story. I usually use this on top of my cream based eyeshadows and the colors would just pop. I love the shimmers that these eyeshadows have and with a good base it lasts a long time. I love both this shades because it looks good with my skin tone. I probably won’t be repurchasing though because there’s already a lot on the pan that will last me a long time and I might be looking for better alternatives as well. About the applicators, well I think they’re okay but I prefer my brushes when applying eye colors so I cannot comment on them.

I got Emerald Girl on ebay.ph while Aqua Paradise was bought for me by my sister. After this will I be buying anymore CG eyeshadows? The answer is yes! I want to try their quads actually but I can’t seem to find shades that I would like that are locally available here.

Baxi Cream Eyeshadow duo in 08 November 16, 2008

I’ve tried other Baxi cream eyeshadows before so I know I won’t be disappointed with this one. Shade on the left is an antique gold with a hint of green and on the right a very pretty dark emerald green. Both are shimmery and staying power is one of the best, this one will stay put with or without base but there will be a bit of creasing but very minimal. I will repurchase if ever I do ran out which will be a long time.

This is my very first Rimmel eyeshadow. Moonstone is a shimmery white eyeshadow that can be used as a highlighter. I love the shimmer of this eyeshadow because it’s not glittery. The texture of the powder is really nice and it’s not chalky at all. Staying power is great it lasted on me for more than 10 hours. Pigment is good as well with or without base. I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing but I would like to try out other shades as well.

Nu Skin Desired Effects Eyeshadow in French Vanilla & Pearl Green November 15, 2008

Okay, the only reason I ever thought of buying these was because the seller on ebay was selling it for P10 each. So I thought ‘hey what a bargain’, I would never buy this with it’s original price of P900 plus or something. I bidded and I won! For the review, this eyeshadows are not very pigmented you will need a base for it to really show and last. I love the subtle shimmery effect of these eyeshadows, it can be a very bit chalky. I use French Vanilla as a highlighter which works quite nicely and looks really nice paired with my other e/s. Pearl Green is sort of a green with a bit of gray, very nice for soft and subtle looks. I’ve only used the green shade once or twice and the white one more than 4 times as an highlighter, staying power is pretty fair but I think this would depend on the base that you will use. Check out the swatches I made and see the color pay off with and without base, pigment is only fair. The base that I used is the SanSan eyeshadow stick in Beige.
